Strep!
Yep, it's strep. I feel like a dope for not realizing it before now, when she's been sick since last Tuesday! But at least now she's on the road to getting rid of the sore throat.
You can always identify strep by those tell-tell white spots in the back of the throat. Sometimes though, it could be thrush. (Years of being a mother/grandmother/worked in hospital-clinic setting.) She should start to feel better in about 12 hours. Susan
It was so nice to meet you too, Susan! And yes, Hibi has always enjoyed music and dancing. I remember her dancing when she was four months old! She gets a little frenetic for me, though, and she wants me to dance with her. Having grown up Mennonite I am not used to dancing and really am not very comfortable with it, unless there are prescribed steps--as with Greek dancing, whether I know them or not. :-)

Oh poor thing.
I don't think (knock wood) my kids have ever had strep, I'd not know it immediately either.

Oh, I had strep more times than I can count growing up. Not fun!! Hope Hibi feels better soon. Gargling with warm salt water might feel good.
It was so nice to meet you tonight.
I enjoyed watching Hibi dance. She really seemed to enjoy herself.
