This is a great picture. I love the colors (especially the green coat)... it would be a fun one to paint! Same with Hibi's picture!
This is a "it's a small world" story I wanted to share with you, as it involves your family....
About a week ago, I saw an article in "Metro Parent" with a reference to the Vegan Lunch Box blog. I went to check it out and really enjoyed it. I followed Jennifer's link to your blog, as I'm also a homeschooler only to discover that you're now in Portland (I'm in Gresham). I've now read most of your entries, including the one to say if you're a regular reader, please let me know who you are and was mulling over how/if I wanted to respond.
Then, yesterday, I was checking messages for the Oregon Home Education Network helpline (I'm one of the volunteers and it's my week to man the line) and there was a message from Father Paul. When I returned the call, the receptionist answered with an identification of "Greek Orthodox Church".
After exchanging a few phone calls, something clicked and I came to check your blog. Sure enough, Paul is your husband. Strange the way things work. I hope he was able to connect with Annette and get the information he needed for the up-in-coming conference.
